Moody Mentor Program

The Moody Mentor Program is designed to assist our first-year Success Scholars in their transition from high school to the University of Texas. Mentors will assist their MCSS mentees in navigating their first year of college, finding campus resources, and finding a community that enhances their sense of belonging. 

  • Be a current Success Scholar

  • Attend all mentor meetings and trainings

  • Maintain friendly, yet professional relationship with mentees

  • Meet with mentees at least every other week

  • Plan and present a topic to MCSS seminar

  • Not exceed 40 work hours per semester

  • Be a current Success Scholar

  • Meet with mentees at least every other week

  • Plan and present a topic to MCSS seminar

  • Meet with assigned group of mentors to provide guidance and assistance

  • Not exceed 55 hours of work per semester
