CMA 2.306 - University Auditorium
University General Purpose Auditorium CMA 2.306 is located in the Jesse H. Jones Communication Center - Building A (CMA). The room is a large auditorium-style room with fixed theater seating. All seats feature folding tablet arms and many have power for laptops.
The AV system features a cinema-grade 7.1 surround sound and large 1080p HD projection.
The height adjustable rolling teaching console allows users to sit or stand and has AV system touchpanel controller, document camera, keyboard & mouse for the classroom computer (macOS only), and AV connections for laptops (HDMI & wireless presentation).
The room features programmable lighting which is controllable from the stage, entrance vestibules, or by technicians from the audience (via laptop).
The room has 2 channels of wireless microphones (both lavalier and hand mics) along with 6 inputs for wired microphones which feed to ceiling speakers & listening assistance system. Press feeds are provided at the front & back of the room.
A dedicated listening assistance system is installed and listening assistance headsets may be checked out from CMA 3.104. A braille touchpad is available for checkout at CMA 3.104 for those users who prefer a tactile AV control system interface.
