DMC 2.508 - Student Advising Marsha & Robert Jones Conference Room
Moody College of Communication Student Services Jones Conference Room DMC2.508 in the Dealey Center for New Media is a multi-purpose room with movable tables & chairs that are typically set up in a square for seminar-style meetings.
The table (typically forming the Northeast corner of the square) is a tethered teaching console with AV system touchpanel controller along with power & AV connections for laptops (HDMI & wireless presentation). Overhead, a ceiling document camera shows a portion of this table. A wireless keyboard & mouse is provided for the classroom computer (macOS only) allowing anyone in the room to 'drive'.
The room features HD projection and stereo audio. Auxiliary inputs at the AV rack provide connectivity for legacy video devices.
An audio output at the rack allows for connection of a portable listening assistance system which may be checked out from CMA 3.104. A braille touchpad is available for checkout at CMA 3.104 for those users who prefer a tactile AV control system interface.
