DMC 5.102 - Dean's Presentation Room

Moody College of Communication Dean's Presentation Room DMC 5.102 in the G. B. Dealey Center for New Media features fixed theatrical seating. All chairs have flip-up tablet arms and many feature power outlets for laptops.

The room has a 16' x 9' high-definition projector with cinema-grade 5.1 surround sound. 2 wireless microphones (both lavalier and hand mics are provided) along with 6 inputs for wired microphones feed to ceiling speakers, MP3 recorder, & listening assistance system. Press feeds are provided at the front of the room at the teacher's rack.

The height adjustable rolling teaching console allows users to sit or stand and has AV system touchpanel controller, document camera, keyboard & mouse for the classroom computer (macOS only), and AV connections for laptops (HDMI & Wireless Presentation).

A lectern, tables & chairs are available for panels & special events.

The room features programmable lighting which is controllable from the entrance vestibules or from the audience (via laptop).

Auxiliary inputs at the AV rack provide connectivity for legacy video devices. A dedicated listening assistance system is installed and listening assistance headsets may be checked out from CMA 3.104. A braille touchpad is available for checkout at CMA 3.104 for those users who prefer a tactile AV control system interface.
