A Note From the Dean
Every year, Moody College welcomes nearly 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students to obtain a world-class education and remarkable opportunities. They are met by expert faculty, supportive advisors and friends that last a lifetime. We are a large college in a large University that still remains a tight-knit community with one-on-one attention and support. The mission of the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin is to advance and enhance society through the study and practice of human communication. The Moody Gift
In 2013, the Moody Foundation of Galveston announced a $50 million commitment to establish the Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin, resulting in the largest endowment for the study of communication of any public university in the nation. The gift, among the largest ever awarded by the Moody Foundation, supports projects across the Moody College and is aimed to help position it as the nation's leading institution for research and teaching in new and convergent media.
