Say hello to Asha!

Asha Thompson is elated to join the CHC as a Senior Graphic Designer.

Asha joins us most recently as a Graphic Designer for NORCAL Group, a Medical Professional Liability Insurance company, where she executed and collaborated on integrated marketing campaigns, advertising ideation, event coordination, and collateral production. She led the expansion of the visual identity for all NORCAL sub-brands helping to increase engagement, conversion, and build the brand experience internally and externally. Before that, Asha worked as a designer for the Black Studies Department at The University of Texas at Austin where she was responsible for the creation and publication of authentic website and social media content designed to increase student engagement with the department and increase public interest in course offerings. There she spearheaded the production and creative execution of the department’s first video series titled “Student Voices” that served to highlight student achievements and advancements in their respective fields.

A Manhattan, New York native, Asha graduated from The State University of New York at Binghamton and then moved to Buffalo, NY, down to Louisiana, and then decided to settle in Austin in 2017. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, working out, and spending time with her best friends and her toy poodle Lady.
