CHC Welcomes Research Associate: Charulata Ghosh

Introducing, Charulata Ghosh!

Charulata Ghosh is excited to join the Center for Health Communication as a Research Associate.

Charulata received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in English Literature, before completing her Ph.D. in Advertising from the Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations at UT Austin. Her research has primarily focused on how users interact with AI technology, with emphasis on the impact of technology usage on perceptions of identity and e-commerce behavior. Over the course of her Ph.D., Charulata has build research experience using various different methods including survey construction, content analysis, experimental design, and statistical analysis. Due to her interdisciplinary background, she brings a unique blend of quantitative skills and critical theory.

Charulata is also a self-proclaimed tennis super fan, lover of most things chocolate, and enjoys learning new games which she rarely has an opportunity to play again.
