Say hi to Zach!

CHC is excited to welcome Zach Cohen-Ford to our team as a Program Coordinator, working on our project promoting prescribers’ use of the Texas Prescription Monitoring Program.

Zach earned his Bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently working on a Master’s degree in higher education leadership and policy, also from UT.  Zach comes to CHC from the UT Counseling and Mental Health Center and University Health Services, where he coordinated outreach for both organizations. Zach has experience in a broad array of fields, ranging from scribing in an emergency department to advising student health organizations. He is excited to bring those communication and health promotion skills together to help support the statewide PMP project.

Born and raised in the Dallas area, Zach first moved to Austin 10 years ago. He is an avid player of board games and can often be found visiting local board game shops. He and his spouse also enjoy setting records at escape rooms and trying as many kinds of coffee as possible.
