In Memory of Frank W. Denius
The Moody College of Communication mourns the loss of Frank Denius, an unprecedented supporter to The University of Texas and to the Moody College of Communication.
Over the years, the Denius family has invested time, interest and support of the Moody College on multiple levels, including student scholarship and program support. Through their generosity, the university has been able to to expand its offerings in the study of entertainment with a satellite campus in Los Angles (UTLA), in game development and in the important area of news and journalism objectivity.
“Mr. Denius always showed a keen, knowledgeable interest in the work of the college, and his support of students was unwavering,” said Jay Bernhardt, Dean of the Moody College of Communication. “He led a long, productive life. He helped people in war zones, throughout society and in the classroom. Moody College will forever be grateful for his generosity and his family’s time, wise counsel, friendship and philanthropy.”
