Amanda Dieli

Amanda Dieli is a writer, actor, and comedian in her second year as an MFA screenwriting student at the University of Texas at Austin. Her "Pen15" spec episode “Catwoman” was a finalist at Scriptapalooza and a second-round selection at Austin Film Festival in 2022. Her original half-hour pilot script "Soul Hates" was a second-rounder at the 2023 Austin Film Festival. Amanda created, wrote, and produced her first short series "18 Grand: A Personal Space Odyssey," which had its world premiere at NYC Web Fest in 2018 and took the top prize of Best Web Series. Amanda is a veteran sketch and improv performer of the Upright Citizen Brigade Theatre in New York (2014-2019). She received her BFA in acting from the University of Southern California.
