At the start of fall semesters, we offer an intensive session for new Moody College faculty that provides an opportunity to:

• meet CATE staff and other new faculty
• familiarize yourself with teaching and learning in Moody College
• practice using educational technology tools such as Canvas
• workshop aspects of course design such as learning outcomes and assessments
• discuss best practices in teaching methods and classroom management 

We also have a Canvas course which allows new Moody College faculty to learn to navigate within Canvas, list and differentiate the main educational technology platforms used at UT, and identify where to find help and support for teaching, using educational technology, and using information technology.
