The Moody College of Communication offers different types of fellowships for current Moody graduate students. These include Moody college-funded fellowships as well as fellowships funded by the University of Texas at Austin Graduate School.

Incoming Graduate Students: Each Moody College of Communication department/school provide a limited number of fellowships to incoming graduate students based on their application for admission. There is no formal application for fellowships; you will automatically be nominated if you meet the criteria, and it will be stated on your offer letter. 

Prospective and newly admitted graduate students should reach out to their department/school of interest to see what funding opportunities are available.

Current Graduate Students: There are three different graduate fellowship applications that are available for currently enrolled graduate students in the Moody College of Communication: Merit, Travel, and Research Fellowships. 

The fellowships are open to master’s and doctoral students enrolled in a graduate program within the Moody College. Applicants must be seeking funding for the second or subsequent year of their programs. Please review the different applications below and apply accordingly.
