Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences
The Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences includes pathways in speech-language pathology and audiology, providing students with knowledge of speech, language, and hearing challenges, while preparing them to provide innovative treatment to patients throughout the lifespan. Students are required to fulfill internship and clinical requirements to obtain certification.

Core Curriculum
A specific combination of coursework in English, Government, American History, Math, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Fine Arts.
Major requirements
- At least 45, but no more than 54, semester hours of speech, language, and hearing sciences (SLH).
- Each student must choose one of the following tracks: Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
- Three hours of coursework in introductory statistics from a list of approved courses (see degree checklist).

- 6 hours of Communication Foundations: COM 301E and COM 302E.
