Senior Fellows Honors Program Hosts Discussion with Cast of KUT's "Two Guys on Your Head"

AUSTIN, Texas – Sept. 8, 2014 – Senior Fellows, the honors program of The University of Texas at Austin's Moody College of Communication, will host a discussion with the stars of KUT's "Two Guys on Your Head," College of Liberal Arts Professor Art Markman and Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music Professor Bob Duke. The show's creator and host, Rebecca McInroy, will join the panel to discuss how the trio makes science interesting and understandable. Science-communication expert and Department of Advertising and Public Relations Assistant Professor Anthony Dudo will moderate the discussion. 

WHEN: 4-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17 

WHERE: Belo Center for New Media Auditorium (BMC 2.106), 300 W. Dean Keeton St.

COST: The event is free and open to the public.

BACKGROUND: "Two Guys on Your Head" is a weekly KUT radio show featuring UT Austin professors Art Markman and Bob Duke, who the explore different aspects of the human brain and how it effects our behavior. Conversations are hosted by the show's creator, Rebecca McInroy, and cover everything from the effects sugar has on the brain, to what is going on inside our minds while we sleep.
