The Moody College Scholarship Application opens during the spring semester of each year. The application is available to students who have been enrolled at UT Austin in the past year. All of the application-based scholarships that the Moody College awards to incoming freshmen are awarded through UT's freshman scholarship process.

Jesse H. Jones Fellowships
The Moody College of Communication annually awards the Jesse H. Jones Endowed Centennial Fellowships to graduate students who possess exceptional ability in advertising, communication sciences and disorders, journalism, radio-television-film, or communication studies. The fellowships are awarded each Spring for the following academic year. The fellowships are open to masters or doctoral students who are enrolled in a Moody College graduate program at the time of application, or were enrolled in a Moody College graduate program during the prior long semester; applicants must be seeking funding for the second or subsequent year of their programs. Preference is given to candidates with a strong, interdisciplinary track record. Students should contact their graduate program coordinator for more information.
Wofford Denius Music Industry Internship Grants Program
The Wofford Denius Music Industry Internship Grants Program is a special program that grants financial assistance to Moody College of Communication students pursuing summer internships in the music industry in Los Angeles, New York City and Nashville.
Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program
The Undergraduate Research Fellowship Program provides support for specific scholarly research projects conducted by full-time UT undergraduate students enrolled in any department. These fellowships are intended to cover costs associated with academic research projects proposed and written by student applicants and undertaken with the supervision of a university tenured or tenure-track faculty member, lecturer, senior lecturer or full-time research scientist/engineer. The Alliance for Women in Media Austin Affiliate Scholarship
The Alliance for Women in Media Austin Affiliate scholarship applications for the 2022-2023 school year are now open. AWM Austin is proud to award a scholarship to a college Sophomore or Junior studying media or a related field at a university in the Austin area (within a 40-mile radius from Austin). Consideration will also be given to students attending other colleges who graduated from an Austin area high school and maintain an Austin area permanent address.

Islamic Scholarship Fund
ISF's Scholarship Program is now accepting applications until March 21st for the 2023-24 school year. Every year, ISF awards up to $10,000 in scholarships to up-and-coming change-makers in media, policy, law, and film.
The Walter J. Travis Memorial Scholarships and The Rudy Zocchi Memorial Scholarship
The Travis Society’s Scholarships are awarded to students pursuing a career in one of the following professions: landscape design/golf course architecture; golf course turf grass management/golf course superintendent; professional golf management, club professional, or sports journalism with a special interest in golf.
The application is due on May 15th, 2023.
