Thank you for your interest in attending the Fall 2026 Moody College Career Expo at The University of Texas at Austin. The following information is designed to help you prepare for your visit once you have registered for the event.

Our Students

The Moody College Career Expo typically attracts 800–1,000 students and alumni. While the event is open to all majors across The University of Texas at Austin, most attendees represent the Moody College of Communication, which serves over 5,600 undergraduate and graduate students across 7 specialized majors and 14 minors.

Career Expo Details

The Fall 2026 Moody College Career Expo will be held 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 30, 2026, on The University of Texas at Austin campus in the Shirley Bird Perry Ballroom on the 3rd level of the Texas Union, located on the southeast corner of Guadalupe Street and 24th Street.

All exhibitors must create a user account in 12twenty@Texas. Event reservation is not final until payment for space has been received and all required registration details in online form have been submitted.

Check-In & Set-Up

Event check-in and set-up is open from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Texas Union Shirley Bird Perry Ballroom. We will provide coffee, tea, and water service all day, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Staff support will be on hand between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to help bring last-minute smaller items from the load-in zone to your booth, and to help you set up your booth. The load-in zone location is detailed below in the Career Expo map. Please do not leave your car unattended. Moody College Career Expo is not responsible for any tickets issued for unattended vehicles.

Your Visit to Campus

Driving 

The Moody College Career Expo will be held in the Texas Union, at the corner of Guadalupe and 24th Streets. You can reach the Texas Union from MoPac/Loop 1 by exiting Windsor/24th Street or from I-35 by exiting MLK Boulevard.

Ride Share Information (Highly Recommended)

Please ask your ride share driver to drop you off at the Texas Union, adjacent to the UT Guard Booth at 24th Street and Whitis Avenue. The Texas Union will be on your right if you are facing the guard booth.

Parking for Career Expo

Parking is very limited on campus. The San Antonio Parking Garage, 2420 San Antonio Street, is just a short walk to the Career Expo. The only way to guarantee a space is to purchase a permit in advance through this link.

We highly recommend pre-paying for parking, as it also helps with ease of entry and exit. 

For those without a pre-paid pass, real-time space availability of campus garages can be viewed here.

There are also some public parking options in paid lots and metered street parking in the area.

Package Drop-Off

To drop off packages 30 lbs and smaller at the Career Expo prior to parking, please see the map above. The drop-off zone is located outside the Texas Union along 24th Street, east of Guadalupe Street. Drop-off will be open 9:30-11 a.m. Please do not leave your car unattended. Staff support will be on hand to help take packages from the loading zone to your booth while you go park your car. Moody College Career Expo is not responsible for any tickets issued for unattended vehicles.

Shipping Packages for the Career Expo

All shipment of materials to and from the Expo will be handled by the attending employers and their representatives. If you would like to ship your materials in advance, we will accept small shipments from your preferred carrier until Friday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. Shipping times can be unpredictable, so please plan accordingly. 

Express shipping through FedEx or UPS is highly recommended. Space is limited, so please reach out to your account representative or email advertise@texasstudentmedia.com for the address before sending packages to ensure we have the storage space and so we know to expect your delivery. Please note: Small packages under 30 lbs can be dropped off at the Load-In Zone (see above).

You are responsible for any packages/materials brought to the event. Please ensure all materials are packed upon leaving the Expo. In the event you will need to ship items back, you may use a nearby off-campus FedEx shipping center. Please note you will need to bring and prepare your own labels. Materials cannot be stored by UT after the event, and anything left on premises after 4 p.m. are subject to being discarded.

What’s Included in Your Expo Booth and What You Should Bring

Your Expo reservation will include the following:

  • 1 – 8' table (unless you upgraded to a larger space)
  • 2 – chairs
  • 1 – table tent with the name of your company/organization
  • Registration for 3 company representatives per 8’ space. Additional representatives may be added for $50 per person.

Your registration also includes the following:

  • Coffee, tea, and water service
  • Lunch for up to 3 recruiters unless you have paid for additional representatives.
  • Wi-Fi access

We will also provide name tags. A reminder that pre-payment is required to attend. All exhibitors must create a user account in 12twenty@Texas. Event reservation is not final until payment for space has been received and all required registration details in online form have been submitted. Should you have any questions about this, please let me know. 

Most employers will bring a branded tablecloth (although, this is not required). Many employers will bring marketing brochures or handouts for students, in addition to promotional items/collateral such as pens, stress balls, sticky notes, etc. You can expect approximately 800-1,000 students from a wide breadth of majors and backgrounds.

Employers also have the option to schedule on campus interviews the day after the Expo and at other times throughout the year. Interview rooms will be given on a first come, first serve basis. Representatives are responsible for creating and scheduling their own interviews. We recommend planning lunch and other short breaks for your own comfort, as well as allowing breathing room during each interview window.
