Digital Media Labs are equipped with up-to-date software and tools for your student production work. Labs are available only to students who are currently enrolled in courses in the Moody College of Communication.

Access to workstations is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please bring the following with you:
- Headphones
- Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3 Hard Drive for Media Storage and Editing (see suggested hard drives)

Media Duplication

The DML (Digital Media Labs) enables you to duplicate a wide variety of media formats with equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Staff and handouts are on hand to help get you going. 

Duplication tools include: 

  • archival tape decks - DV/HDV
  • Umatic 3/4, Digital BetaSP
  • HDCam
  • BetaSP video decks for digitizing to QuickTime via Blackmagic Teranex

Specific Labs and Classrooms

Contains classes and open lab times. 

Full-time student labs.
