August:
The Communication and Leadership degree program introduced a new minor in communicating for development and philanthropy with an inaugural lecture by University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill professor Patricia Parker.
September:
Communication Studies graduate students hosted the 35th annual Organizational Communication Mini-Conference.
The Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas celebrated 25 years of strengthening journalism.
October:
Moody College held the annual Friends of the College Dinner and Awards Ceremony, where it honored supporters, faculty and staff.
Moody College unveiled transformations to Walter Cronkite Plaza.
December:
The new Nelson Center for Brand and Demand Analytics officially launched.
January:
KUTX celebrated 10 years on the air. The station’s first broadcast was Jan. 2, 2013.
March:
Longhorn running back and Moody student Bijan Robinson joined Advertising & Public Relations professor and Director Natalie Tindall in a SXSW panel about name, image and likeness (NIL).
Moody College alumni gathered for the third annual Breakfast with the Dean.
April:
Moody held the Third Annual Diversity in Media Symposium, featuring Grammy nominee Gina Chavez as its keynote speaker.
Faculty, staff and their families connected at the Moody College Spring Social at Easy Tiger.
