Andrew Garrison helps students tell stories through documentary and fiction films
Andrew Garrison, associate professor in the Department of Radio-Television-Film, appears in a profile that aired on the Longhorn Network. An independent filmmaker, Garrison teaches narrative and documentary production courses, including East Austin Stories. His work has screened at Sundance Film Festival, South by Southwest and the New York Film Festival.
His most recent film, "Trash Dance," will screen Feb. 5 at New York's Lincoln Center.
