Dr. Casey Walker is an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Radio-Television-Film. Currently, he teaches classes in media industries, film history, global cinema, and media work.

His work has been published in journals such as New Review of Film and Television Studies, Journal of 20th Century Media History, Monstrum, Dialogue, and Unbound.  He is currently working on a book project called Camera Work: Classical Hollywood Camera Departments as Systems within the System.
