Michael and Tami Lang Stuttering Institute

The mission of the Michael and Tami Lang Stuttering Institute is to help persons who stutter, their families, and their clinicians through the provision and sharing of evidence-based practices, the implementation of progressive clinical training methodologies, and the completion of innovative research with an emphasis on translating theory to practice. The research and clinical outomes of our institute will further understanding of factors that contribute to the onset, development, and persistence of stuttering as well as enhance clinician comfort and competency in working with children and adults who stutter. The persons who stutter and their loved ones as well as the students and clinicians who participate in our programs are inspired to pursue their dreams, to speak from their hearts with no hesitation, and to live their lives to the fullest.
