Brain and Behavioral Science Lab: The Brain and Behavioral Science Laboratory

Welcome to the Brain and Behavioral Science Lab in the Moody College of Communication.  This research facility‐located in a newly remodeled space in the Communication B Building (CMB)‐houses a suite of versatile, state-of-the-art experimental rooms and lab spaces.

The capabilities of the Brain and Behavioral Science Lab are extensive, and the space was designed to facilitate the research of faculty and students from a variety of areas within the communication discipline. The lab is comprised of:

  • A conference room/focus group room
  • Three experimental lab rooms
  • A dedicated space for conducting physiological and eye tracking studies. Researchers interested in using this room will need to provide their own equipment.

Location

The Moody College of Communication Brain and Behavioral Science Lab is located on The University of Texas at Austin campus in Communication Building B (CMB) on the corner of Dean Keeton and Guadalupe. To access the lab, enter the CMB through the main entrance located on the northwest corner of the Walter Cronkite Plaza (near the Austin City Limits plaque). Upon entering, take the elevators on your left to the first floor and proceed to your assigned lab space or waiting area.
