Congratulations! Here are a few key pieces of information that you should review as soon as possible.

Orientation
Incoming freshmen are required to attend orientation to become familiar with the University and the Moody College.

First-Year Support
 Moody College of Communication FIGs (First-Year Interest Groups) seek to create and foster collaborative student communities formed around majors and shared interests.
In addition, students who want support and guidance from an experienced Moody student should apply for a Moody Mentor.

Housing 
Be sure that you have reviewed the University of Texas housing options.

Financial Aid
Be sure to submit your FAFSA by UT's priority deadline for financial aid in order to be considered for the most financial aid options.

Scholarships
All of the Moody College of Communication's scholarships for incoming freshmen are incorporated into UT's standard freshman scholarship process. You will be able to access the Moody College scholarship application in the spring semester of your first year at UT Austin for scholarships for the following fall/spring.

External Transfer Students:

The Moody College encourages all external transfer students to attend summer orientation.

First-Year Support
Moody College of Communication TRIGs (Transfer Interest Groups) are available to help transfer students as they transition to the University of Texas at Austin and the Moody College.
In addition, students who want support and guidance from an experienced Moody student should apply for a Moody Mentor.

Housing
Be sure that you have reviewed the University of Texas housing options.

Financial Aid
UT Austin's priority deadline for the FAFSA is March 15 each year. Be sure to submit your FAFSA by this deadline in order to be considered for the most financial aid options.

Scholarships
Scholarships for external transfer students are awarded via the University's Continuing and Transfer Student Scholarship Application. You will be able to access the Moody College scholarship application in the spring semester of your first year at UT Austin, for scholarships for the following fall/spring.
