Avoid punctuation such as periods and underscores when naming an account. Use your full name in the title but handle can be abbreviated. For the handle, use UTexas in the beginning of your name, followed by department, lab or center.

About Section:

Clearly state the mission of your department center or lab. Provide important context to new and existing audiences. Include a hyperlink to your group’s website. Please include that your page is part of the greater Moody College community.

Avatar
All avatars should align with Moody College branding guide and should be resized for the proper platform. The avatar is the fundamental identity of your department, organization, program or center within your social channels. The avatar needs to be consistent across all platforms and once established, it should not change. If you have an official logo, you also have an approved avatar. For labs or other entities without an official logo, you may use a graphic or photograph as an avatar. Please contact the Moody College Marketing and Communication team for approval of your avatar or if you need assistance in creating one.

Cover Photo
We encourage you to be creative with your cover photo but make sure it is relevant to your unit/department. This photo can reflect events or marketing campaigns. Create original graphics or use original photography for the cover photo.

• Give credit to photographers or artists when possible
• Share someone’s post rather than copying and pasting as an original post
