Kelly West is an award-winning photojournalist and filmmaker whose work has been featured in publications and festivals across the country. She earned her master's degree in journalism from UT-Austin in 2010, and went on to teach the first accredited photojournalism course at Austin Community College for nearly a decade. West has worked as a cinematographer on feature-length documentaries, including Running with Beto and Boycott, and produced and edited many short films for editorial publications including The Intercept, Atlas Obscura, and Texas Monthly.
