Amanda Zappler, Au.D., CCC-A, is a clinical assistant professor teaching both clinical practicum and academic courses in audiology to both graduate and undergraduate SLHS students. She received her doctorate of audiology (AuD) from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2006 and her M.A. in audiology from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998.
Dr. Zappler specializes in diagnostic audiology, aural rehabilitation, amplifying systems, hearing loss and healthy aging, as well as hearing loss due to noise exposure. She has worked as an educator, private practice clinical audiologist, hospital audiologist, and manufacturer’s technical audiologist and trainer.
