New Agendas is a conference series held by the Moody College of Communication that brings together researchers from a diverse array of fields to tackle current issues in communication scholarship. Founded in 2006, it was created to attract up-and-coming scholars from across the country to apply fresh ideas to a research topic along with seasoned faculty members from the College.
As the result of the conference, participants contribute chapters to a book published by Routledge as part of the New Agendas series. Many of the books have already become significant works in their respective fields. So far, the New Agendas Conference has hosted 10 conferences and yielded five books.
