Communication Job & Internship Fairs are held each year during the spring and fall semesters. Typically, 65-100 employers attend these events to meet, recruit, and interview communication students and alumni for job and internship opportunities. The Job & Internship Fairs also offer the opportunity to network with representatives from various employers.
Each year, CCS hosts up to 50 employers interviewing students for a wide range of entry-level positions and internships. Interviews take place in the CCS office (BMC 2.302) in one of our interviews suites. Review the Calendar of Events, and the ‘On-Campus Interviews’ section of CareerSource for interviewing opportunities, Industry Talks, and application deadlines.
*No-Shows and Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are taken very seriously as it is disrespectful to the recruiter and students that missed out on the opportunity. All no-shows are required to compose a letter of apology to the interviewer, which you can email or deliver a hardcopy of the letter to CCS and it will be forwarded it to the recruiter. Any No-Shows or Late Cancellations will have their CareerSource account de-activated and will be suspended from all CCS on-campus interviewing and other services until the apology is received by CCS.
