The Communication Job & Internship Fair generally welcomes 800-1000 students and 75-85 employers. Students and young alumni looking to obtain entry level communication-related jobs or internships attend these fairs. While our fair caters to Moody College students, all UT students and alumni interested in networking with registered employers are encouraged to attend.
Who can participate?
Participation in UT Communication Job & Internship Fairs is limited to organizations offering professional job, internship and career opportunities and requiring candidates pursuing or possessing a university degree (Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral). As such, participation is not open to providers of fee-based programs/services; graduate, professional or trade schools; or employment agencies recruiting candidates for their services.
Corporate: Early Registration: $425 until August 14, 2019; Regular Registration: $475 until September 11, 2019; Late Registration* (after September 11, 2019 and until September 23, 2019): $525
Government and Non-Profit: Regular Registration: $250 until September 11, 2019; Late Registration* (after September 11, 2019 and until September 23, 2019): $300
*Late registration acceptance subject to availability.
Booth Availability and Deadline to Register
There are a total of 75 booths available. Registrations will be accepted until Wednesday, September 25, 2019 or until all booths have been reserved. Late registrations will only be accepted if space is still available.
PLEASE NOTE: To ensure that (a) your company information will be included in event print materials and (b) you have booth signage; register by September 2, 2019. Payment must be received by the early registration deadline in order to secure the discounted rate. After the early registration deadline has passed your fee will reflect the regular registration rate. Payment must be confirmed to secure booth space.
What is included?
The standard fee includes one 8'x8' booth with one electrical outlet, a 6 foot table and table cloth/skirting, lunch, wireless access, and two (2) parking validations. Up to two additional recruiters may attend with regular registration. There will be a fee of $30 per additional recruiter after the first two. There is a limit of four recruiters per booth at any one time due to room capacity/safety regulations.
Organizations may bring convention displays for their table as well as publications and other materials for distribution. Please keep in mind that the displays must fit into the 8'x8' foot booth space area where you are assigned.

Select Register next to "Fall 2019 Job & Internship Fair" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.
Registration Invoice and Payment
Registrations can be paid by check (payable to The University of Texas at Austin), Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. Please note, UT Austin does not accept American Express. You will receive a confirmation email with your Invoice with detailed payment instructions once your registration is approved.

A written cancellation request – via email – must be received in the CCS office by 5:00 pm CST on August 28, 2019 to receive a full refund. If you must cancel anytime between August 28, 2019 (after 5:00 pm CST) and September 4, 2019 only half of your fee will be refunded. (All full refunds will be minus a $25.00 Cancellation Service Fee).
Cancellation requests received after the deadline of September 4, 2019 will not be eligible for refund. Registrations with outstanding balances that are cancelled after the deadline are also required to make the full payment due to booth and print costs.
Please note: A $25 Late Fee will be added to invoices that have not been paid in full by the day of the career fair, September 25th. Registrations with outstanding balances past 30 days after the event will have their CareerSource account deactivated until the balance is paid in full.

CHECK-IN & SET-UP
The event entrance is located on East 23rd St. between San Jacinto Blvd. and Robert Dedman Dr. at Gates 14 & 16 of the DKR Stadium North End Zone. Employer Check-in is located on the 1st floor of the stadium and will be visible upon entry of the venue. Physical Address: 403 East 23rd St., Austin, TX 78712
During set-up on the 8th floor, you will have access to beverages in the Employer Hospitality Area. We ask that you arrive and are set-up by the time the doors open to students. If you arrive after the start of the fair, the drop-off /set-up assistance will not be available.
Event volunteers will be on hand until 10a to help move items from the Booth Materials Drop-O area to your booth and to help you set up your booth at the event. Employers are encouraged to use the Booth Material Drop-O area, even for small packages, due to the walk from the garage to the stadium. (Look for the sign and tent on the West side of the stadium.)
Garage parking is available on-campus in the Manor Parking Garage, located at 2017 Robert Dedman Dr. Two parking spaces for each attending company/organization are guaranteed before 10a. Parking after 10a is not guaranteed. To validate your parking take your parking ticket from Manor Garage to Employer Check-in on the 1st Floor. Additional parking validations can be requested the day of the event at Employer Check-in and will be invoiced to you after the fair.
SHIPPING PACKAGES TO THE VENUE BEFORE THE EVENT
You may ship packages to the DKR Stadium-The Club, Specialty Events Services. The arrival date must be between September 16 and September 23. They are happy to receive, store, and deliver them to your booth at the fair free of charge. Items received after September 23rd are not guaranteed to be available at the event.

Items with hand-written labels will not be accepted for return shipment.
NOTE: if you plan to return your packages via UPS, you will need to arrange for a pre-paid pickup using the address above and notify Karen.email@example.com regarding details of the pickup, including the confirmation number. Return items will be shipped September 26th.
