Megan Vallee has been a part of the Moody College of Communication since 2015. She absolutely loves working with and for students. Megan’s goal, as a Career Advisor, is to empower the future scholars, leaders, and humanitarians of our world and help them find their individual paths to greatness. She strives to make career advising an enjoyable and exciting experience.

Megan was born and raised “down in the west Texas town of El Paso”. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, studying communication, humanities, and music. While she misses the delicious food and friendly people from home, she’s fallen head over heels for Austin. After a family visit in 2012 to the Texas capitol, she fell in love with the city’s gorgeous vegetation, eclectic people, and passion for the arts. Austin is her haven.

Interesting Fact: While in El Paso, Megan had weekly gigs as a trumpet player for a Ska Band. She loves music – especially jazz standards, art, and a good adventure book. She’s a softie for animals and has a black lab named Winnie.
