Mac Torluccio has over 15 years of experience working in the film and television industries. Mac joined the Wofford Denius UTLA Center for Entertainment & Media Studies as the Senior Program and Communications Coordinator in December 2011. He graduated from Ithaca College with a B.S. in Television/Radio and a Concentration in Video Production and attended the Ithaca College Los Angeles Program. He began his career working for Al Ruddy, Academy Award Winning Producer of THE GODFATHER and MILLION DOLLAR BABY. Mac transitioned to Creative Artists Agency as an Agent’s Assistant in both the Television Literary and Film Literary departments where he was involved in the packaging and sales of numerous television and film projects including FREAKY FRIDAY, HARRY POTTER, and LOST IN TRANSLATION. Mac then spent several years at The Walt Disney Studios in multiple capacities. As the Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Production, Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, Mac was involved in the management of dozens of major motion picture productions including PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, MIRACLE, HAUNTED MANSION, HOLES, and THE SANTA CLAUSE franchise. Mac then served as the Director of the Walt Disney Feature Film Writing Fellowship Program, where he was responsible for the oversight and development of four feature film writers per year. He was simultaneously a live-action feature film devleopment executive for the studio, as the Manager, Creative Affairs, Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, where he shepherded projects including INVINCIBLE and THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING. As the Vice President of Film with Intrigue Entertainment, he produced film and unscripted television projects. He is currently an independent entertainment executive serving as President, Window Seat Entertainment. Mac has been a Lecturer and Adjunct Professor with the Ithaca College Los Angeles Program, with courses on Film and Television Production and Development.
